Love Like This - Natasha Bedingfield |
] |
I think life is really good right now. Nothing much to complain about at the moment.
New Year's Eve / New Year's was absolutely wonderful, and the credit for that goes to the most caring and amazing boyfriend ever.
I put in my two week's notice today at Old Navy; things were just not working out there. I have a new job at Tijuana Flats on 66th street, though. Hooray burritos!
I just finished the physics review, I still need to do Spanish and read Sparknotes.
This year's going to be an interesting one, I do believe. But hopefully interesting in a good way.
Also, congrats Andy!

I'm sitting here icing my face with my right hand and typing with my left. It's amazing, I can actually feel my face now!
So yesterday I left the house at 2 a.m. to drive to Matt's house. Since there was no one on the road, I made it there in 5 hours. He thought I wasn't coming so when he called me around 6 because he woke up, I told him he woke up just in time to make me breakfast. =) When I got there, we ate breakfast and opened presents with his dad and his dad's fiancé. That was so much fun; it was my first real Christmas. Since he lives so far north, it was actually cold! I could see my breath, and it was even too cold for Christmas. Also, I realize that my writing sounds a lot like a 5th grader's right now, but I just took my pain meds about half an hour ago. It was so neat with presents under a real Christmas tree and people sitting and opening presents and hot chocolate. Hmm that makes me want hot chocolate... This pain medication makes me so tired but I want to stay awake to enjoy my 32 oz smoothie that I made my dad go out and get. I hope it lasts me for a few days. It was honestly the best Christmas I've had, possibly because it was my first real Christmas, but mainly because I got to spend it with Matt. That hot chocolate sounds really good right now. I had to go home at 1 though because I hate driving in the dark. I was on I-75 and I saw this Porsche and a Corvette racing, and thought "Wow, you're fucking assholes." 30 miles later, I saw them and they were both pulled over. I smiled. I'm really sleepy but I'm not tired. I woke up early this morning to get a chicken biscuit as it was my last solid food for awhile. I kind of want to take another pain med because the pain is even more intense than camping but I don't think you're supposed to. I bought really cute shoes, a clutch, and another thermal today from Old Navy because I was attempting to alleviate the pain that would come after surgery. I really like my job but we don't get treated very well. That seems to be the general consensus anyway. My smoothie's been in the freezer for like 6 hours now and I want it to not be frozen... sigh. I think that's all I have to say, if not, I'll update again since Matt's not awake and Kirby's out and I think Rachel's sleeping and Adam's watching sports.

( How can you not love this? ) Also, my interview for Old Navy was interesting. We had 15 minutes to make a fashion collage out of magazines, paper, and glue. And then we had to create an outfit and sell it to a "customer". I hope I get hired.
I'm exhausted.

I never seem to write in here because I'm always too exhausted or I'm just so busy. Anyway, life as it has been since my post from long ago:
School's been interesting I suppose. Out There is a complete flop and it's hard to be a one woman team. My birthday was wonderful; thanks everyone, especially my expert cake-makers. It was delicious, despite the fact that I hate chocolate frosting. It's so weird to think we've been in school for what now, a month and a half? Anyway, I'm trying really hard to get straight A's. I'm sitting on the edge for right now and I guess we'll find out eventually. I think I have the opposite of senioritis. It feels like I didn't try hard enough last year and this year I'm going into overdrive until I kick some ass GPA-wise.
It feels like senior year is completely different, yet the same. I still drive in my car to and from school, I'm still disorganized as hell, and I still procrastinate the same (if not more, actually). But I'm trying hard to rebuild bridges and create new ones. I'm trying to connect to all these people I'm supposed to have known for the past three years, but know nothing about. It's cheesy, but I'm trying. Except for those who have the intelligence of a rock. How do you connect to that, seriously?
Back to where I was... I haven't started a single college application, and I really should. If UF didn't kick FSU's ass at medical, I would be FSU all the way. Oh well, if I get in, I'll sit on the FSU side of UF vs FSU games with Matt and Ciara. I honestly have no school spirit. How depressing. Oh well. =)
I realize this is a very long entry. But anyway, life is okay. I keep feeling this terrible weight on my shoulders of not having finished college apps and FLVS. I'll get around to it. I hope. At the moment I should be studying physics, so I suppose I'll do that now.

School is starting soon and I'm so ridiculously behind in FLVS, it's amazing. I also have to read Brave New World and sparknote Candide, and finish my spanish homework. Bah. I'm really wondering what senior year is going to be like because it's supposed to be your best, but I'm thinking it's just going to be the same as last year. It's so strange how much has changed since I sat next to the creepy girl (<3) at orientation, but overall, I think it's for the better?
( Sometimes my friends are just really strange, but awesome. )
Time to do FLVS.

So I got a 1280 on my SAT! I'm really happy. I scored 30 points higher than I did last time, so it's all good. I went to the mall today with Kirbachel. I'm driving to see Matt tomorrow, I'm excited. My mom and I are about to go get a new camera for me. Uh, I'm pretty happy with life right now.

"You haven't posted in LiveJournal in forever!" - Matt
Well this is me posting. I realize I haven't posted in forever but I didn't really know what to say. I guess I'll start out from where I left off, I guess? Maybe?
Matt and I broke up but we got back together. It was a very messy and emotional thing, and thanks to everyone that helped me not run out of the AP English exam in tears. So two days later after I finished my bio final, I set off for a good 5.5 hour drive to see him. It was nice, I don't understand why people don't like driving. I stopped once in Chattahoochee to get about $10 of gas because my mileage PWNZ! We had a great weekend and I was really sad to go home. =(
Then when I got home, I was like, "Whoa, it's summer." And basically I've been on Vent and taking the occasional walk, shopping with the family, spending daddy's money, and such. All of my FLVS teachers talk really loud and really long. I've been watching movies to overcome PMS, I have to say, John Tucker Must Die has less intellectual content than Mean Girls. Now I shall sleep converse with my vent until I am forced off the computer?
Post Script: I really want a smoothie but all I have is a glass of milk. Meh.

Cocaine - Eric Clapton |

All the days of the week seem to blend together and I can never differentiate what happened on what day.
As I recall, however, yesterday Kirby and I went to IHOP and had pancakes and girltalk. Then, Erich came and sat with us for he needed a ride home. My car remote is sucking large testicles recently, and refuses to work unless I need to prove to my father how it doesn't work. I lost one of the studs for my 2nd holes in my ear, so I need to attain another, which blows. I'll probably run around on Thursday for Valentine's Day stuff, since Matt and I are celebrating on Saturday. I drove Erich home, and we deduced that people from random places are flooding St. Pete, French Canadians are absolutely TERRIBLE drivers, and people in Expeditions are ballsy. I love that boy, haha.
Today Ciara and Rachel finished their documentary for the Emmys, and we finished our package (which has Matt in it, SWEEEEEEET). Ciara, Kirby, and I went Super Wal-Marting after CATCOM (what can I say, CATCOM ♥s Super Wal-Mart) for miscellaneous crap. And then at around 6 something, I laid down to wait for Scrubs to come on, but my body was like, "You exhausted me, you bitch!" and fell into a comatose state until about half an hour ago, and my body is begging me to go back to sleep.
Quote of the year: "KIM, my car made me buckle up my calc book!" Talking to Ciara in the lane next to me while waiting for the light from Super Wal-Mart is amazing.
Post Script: Valentine's Day is far too corporate for my book.
"Matt, I told you not to get me anything." "As if I listen to you, you're not my mom!" "..."

Don't Turn Around - Ace of Base |
] |
Today was a pretty neat day.
It started off with Ryan dancing, singing, "Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me?" Most awesome thing ever. I kept falling asleep throughout the day; presented my science project in Garbutt; went to el CATCOM and watched black girl get freaky on Ryan. Then as I was driving out of the parking lot, I slowed to say hi to Boondaniwon and Nathan, who were playing guitar in Brad's truck bed, and Nathan threw Gatorade at my car, and I ran over it. Then I pulled over, and listened to them play Collide by Howie Day for me, and then Hero by Enrique Iglesias. Stefanski came and drove like a jackass in the parking lot, and then Brad hopped in my car. Then the four of us just listened to Nathan and Dani play, and along came Chevy, Seeta, and Nick, so we all stood and talked and listened. Then Brad, Nathan, and I sat inside Brad's truck and listened to his amazing sound system. I gave Brad my Akon CD because his subs are amazing. Nick taped Dani and Nathan playing and singing, and Brad and I were thinking about taking off our undergarments and tossing them into the shot. Driving home, some douchebag cut me off. I was angered. Oh, and in research, we played with E. coli. w00t.
Sooooooo tired. Sosososososo tired. Man, I love this song.
